Puppy Star Training Classes

Learn how to prevent common puppy problems like house soiling, chewing, nipping, digging, jumping up, and of course, barking. Learn commands like “sit” and “down”, and the all-important recall upon request, “come”. Practice handling attention and tolerating a collar. Socialize your puppy with others the same age and with new puppy owners. Teach your puppy to walk nicely on a leash, enjoy being groomed, and even try some puppy agility! This class also qualifies for the AKC S.T.A.R Puppy program.

Prerequisites & Eligibility

  • Puppies 8 - 18 weeks
  • Your puppy must be vaccinated with at least one DHPP, followed by Bordetella, Flu and Rabies as age appropriate. We recommend pets receive these vaccines at least 2 weeks prior for full immunity, when possible.

Frequency & Class Size

Lessons are one hour per week for 7 weeks. You will enjoy small class sizes, for individual attention. Your first week's class is without your dog, for orientation.
